BTS ,an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan (Korean: 방탄소년단, literally meaning "Bulletproof Boy Scouts") or “Beyond the Scene”, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The group began its formation in 2010 and debuted on June 13, 2013 with the album, [r=7839106] In Japan, they are known as �弾少年団 (Bōdan Shōnendan). ARMY or A.R.M.Y (아미) is BTS's official fandom name and stand for Adorable Representative MC for Youth.
